Which PHP version required for which exponent CMS version?

I am running exponent 2.0.5 and my webspace provider is discontinuing the support for PHP 5.2. When I switch the PHP version to anything higher than 5.2 I receive numerous errors and the website does not display properly anymore.

I could not find an overview of which PHP version is recommended/required for which exponent CMS version. Can someone please give an overview?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

v2.0.5 is pretty old, but:
v2.0.9 was considered php v5.4 compatible
v2.2.1 was considered php v5.5 compatible
v2.3.1 is php v5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, & 5.6 compatible

I assume that you issue is fixed now? As the new version of exponent is already compatible with php 5.2.

Yes, Exponent CMS is compatible with PHP versions 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, & 5.6. In the near future, we will not longer guarantee it will work with v5.2.

* v5.6 compatibility added in Exponent v2.3.1
* v5.5 compatibility added in Exponent v2.2.1
* v5.4 compatibility added in Exponent v2.0.7
