2.3 patch 1 error message

When installing patch 1 I've gotten this message: Smarty reported: Syntax error in template "/home/firstccp/firstccpaulding.org/framework/modules/administration/views/administration/install_extension_finish.tpl" on line 86 "{icon button=true link$redirect text='Back'|gettext}" too many shorthand attributes

This has happened on all 4 of the sites I've updated so far. I can get the patch installed by clicking on the Home page link in my navigation which then prompts me to update the database.

OK, sorry and thanks!. The file can be fixed by adding an '=' into the line between link$direct to become link=$direct. And you assumed correctly, this was simply a summary page telling you which files/tables were altered and a link to go back to the starting page.

I'll have the fix in patch#2 planned for a May 30th release.
