Icons in file manager menu dissapear

In some installations of exponent the images of icons in file manager menu can´t display and I can´t find then ´cause menu have a javascript control. How I can fix this?

Is it possible the thumbnail folder is not writeable? /tmp/elfinder is where the uploads and thumbnails are cached/processed

Temp/elfinder was not writeble as you say, I fix this but the icons still out. Where are the originals?

I locate the originals in external/elfinder put that writeble too and all the sub folders in tmp folder. Nothing happens yet

All (uploaded) files within Exponent are in the /files folder

I change in site configure elfinder to default and back to elfinder  now the icons are OK. Thanks.
