Can't log into site

This morning I tried to log into one of my Exponent powered e-commerce sites. When I clicked the log in button, I was taken back to the home page, the Welcome back message was displayed but I was not logged in. I have ensured that I am using the correct user name and password. I know this site is using at least exponent version 2.4.1 patch 5. Any ideas of what I can do to get back into the site??

I did do a repair on the sessionticket table but I am still unable to log in.

Well I was able to fix it. The fix was restarting the VPS that is running the site.

I've seen this issue before. It's related to the server php session files and possibly running out of space in the /tmp folder (or perhaps not enough server memory?). Glad it was fixed.
