Help with database

To cut a long story short I've made a mistake and have version updated my version of exponentcms from 2.1.3 to 2.3 successfully. The problem is I have lost my new database!

So I have a site with code running 2.3 and a database from 2.1.3 - which is telling me I need to update the database. Is there any way to get the 2.3 database structure and update my database?

When you run the 'upgrade', it updates the database structure (and database content and files) as needed.
