When I click on the link to show the NEXT page of the filedownload module, the second page shows up in the admin section above the main content:


Ideally, if it was correct, it would look like this and show up, like my news module, on a separate page. can you help ? I know it is somewhere in the code!!

Is it just ME and my connection, or is the forum terribly slow? Today was the first day I could actually complete this post in two days.

First off, we've been having server issues for months...they are still trying to nail down the exact problem whether it's a server hardware issue or something that is messing with the entire exponentcms.org domain (other sites on that server don't seem to be experiencing problems)...but anyway.

It's likely a problem with div id's. Most of our 'code' places things like the sort dialog into/against a specific div id. Having said that...what theme or subtheme are you using for the initial page 1? I'll have to check, but I think we might run back to display subsequent pages in the default theme template (index.php), unless you have set up an action map (action_maps.php in the theme folder). Also which is the 'main' container and which are hard-coded?

Again, you qualify for life saver status! I forgot all about the action map ... I knew we had addressed a smiliar subject, but was unable to search the forum.

As for the slowness of the server, I experienced that twice in my use of Exponent. The first time was a php issue trying to run it on an IIS machine, The second time, which is all of the past 6 months up until mid January. When I experience slowing of my server, I clear the cache, reset the Sessions, run a Repair the DB and do a database Optimize in that sequence... and it gets me going for another week or two.

I did a couple of tracert of the forum when it kicked me out, and thought maybe this is interesting for you. It does indicate where one of the issues lies.
